Neckpiece.

Enamel on silver, 18 carat gold wire and clasp, mixed green gemstones including tourmaline, apatite, peridot, garnet and emerald. Hand sawn. Each small circular piece is individually fired with multiple layers of powdered enamel, allowing the colours to melt into each other in beautifully spontaneous ways. Length: 46 cm.

Ø of enamelled disks: varying between 8 – 14 mm.

The colour green is one that can become more luminescent in the library of our memories, as if layer upon layer of passing time adds filters of blue-green glass, intensifying everything. In the end, that green becomes the essence of green, a green that is all the possible greens in one, yet also none in particular.
